Vicki is a native of the Hampton Roads area. She grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Psychology and Dance in 2006. After college she married a Navy Submariner and began her Pilates education to become a full time instructor. She completed her comprehensive Pilates teacher training program in 2008 and was certified through the Pilates Method Alliance in 2009. Pilates was a natural fit for her love of movement and provided a consistent job as she moved around the US with the Navy.
Establishing CoreVelo in 2015 was a dream realized for Vicki after working in multiple studios around the US and finally laying down some roots back in her hometown of Hampton Roads. In partnership with Mari, they were able to create a friendly nurturing environment where people could feel welcome and learn techniques and gain tools to create pain free movement experiences that changed their lives. Vicki also has the pleasure and honor to mentor future Pilates professionals with CoreVelo’s teacher training program.
Vicki specializes in working with folks who suffer from chronic pain and acute injuries. She teaches them how to build a Pilates practice that is safe and highly individualized to their current needs so that they can learn how to heal their pains, reduce movement limitations, and feel stronger and more confident in their own skin.
Vicki currently resides in Norfolk with her husband Jason, daughter Katherine, and two adorable rescue pups, Chloe and Chauncy.
